Complete a simple at home cheek swab and return it to our CLIA certified laboratory for analysis. We evaluate hundreds of genetic markers across key areas of childhood health, development, and wellness, helping uncover information that may not be obvious through symptoms alone or one-size-fits-all approaches
Step Two: Explore Your Child's Results
After six weeks, results are organized into an interactive dashboard that helps families better understand patterns, risk factors, strengths, sensitivities and areas of consideration. A Mom Who Sat on Both Sides of the Table
Before founding Sunra Health, I spent years in the pharmaceutical industry working with clinical research, educating healthcare providers, and helping bridge the gap between emerging science and real world healthcare conversations. Like many parents, I trusted that the healthcare system would provide the answers my family needed.
Then I became a mother.
When our daughter developed health challenges following routine immunizations, we found ourselves navigating years of symptoms, specialists, research, and uncertainty. Along the way, we discovered that many of the answers we were searching for already existed but they were scattered across family history, genetics, medical records, buried research, and countless appointments.
What we eventually learned through genetic testing changed everything. We discovered that our daughter's unique biology held important clues that could have helped inform earlier health decisions and better explain the challenges she experienced as an infant. However, we found that information too late. Since then, I've met countless families who have found themselves on a remarkably similar path.
Had we understood those factors sooner, it could have changed the trajectory of her childhood. No family should have to spend years searching for information that could help them better understand their child.
Sunra was created to help change that.
